Helpers on the radio? What’s that all about?

Helpers,

Some of you may know, that WLCR AM 1040 often plays PSAs (Public Service Announcements) promoting our Helpers Mass for the entire week prior to Mass as an outreach, on our behalf, to the community-at-large. What better way to serve those who serve us than to lend them a hand? So on Thursday June 25th, I will be hosting part of the Holy Family Radio Radiothon.  Holy Family Radio broadcasts on WLCR AM 1040 and can also be streamed here.

The purpose of the Radiothon is to raise money to help Holy Family Radio continue its important mission, which the Helpers have in common, that of spreading the Gospel. Because WLCR does so throughout the Louisville area via the airwaves they need OUR help to keep local shows on the air!

I will be on the air between 1pm and 3pm to talk about the benefits of Catholic Radio and why supporting Holy Family Radio is worth it!  I’ll be talking to Fr. Patrick Dolan, Fr. David Carr from St. Martin of Tours in Louisville, Joe Norton from Holy Angels Academy and Barbara McGuigan from EWTN. Would you call during that segment to pledge a donation to help Holy Family Radio?  Holy Family Radio is a tax exempt organization; so your donation is tax deductible.
The number to call to make a donation is: 502-451-9527.
Convenient online credit card donations can be made anytime at www.holyfamilyradio.org.

Just another way to make known Christ and his Helpers.

Sincerely your friend in Christ,

Bob
