On Thursday May 9th Bob Baker, one of our helpers, will be hosting part of the Holy Family Radio Radiothon. Holy Family Radio broadcasts on WLCR AM 1040 and often runs a PSA for the Helpers each month as a reminder to the general public of our missionary opportunity.
The purpose of the Radiothon is to raise money to help Holy Family Radio continue its important mission of spreading the Gospel throughout the Louisville area via the airwaves and to help keep local shows on the air! This year they are celebrating 20 years on the air!
Bob will be on the air between 1pm and 3pm to talk about the benefits of Catholic Radio and why supporting Holy Family Radio is worth it! He will be talking to Fr. Martin Linebach of St. James Church in Elizabethtown, Fr. David Carr from St. Martin of Tours in Louisville, as well as a representative of Immaculata Classical Academy. Would you call during that segment to pledge a donation to help Holy Family Radio? Holy Family Radio is a tax exempt organization; your donation is tax deductible.

Did you know that the Louisville Helpers got its spark from Holy Family Radio?? That’s right, WLCR, was sponsoring an event that was hosting Monsignor Philip Reilly and that he was coming to Louisville to share the Helpers method of evangelization. It all began in May of 2007 —- Twelve years ago. Some of our founding members heard about the event via Holy Family Radio and here we are today!
