A Divine Mercy Novena will be prayed from Good Friday, April 14, through Saturday, April 22 in the Chapel at St. Patrick Church (1000 N. Beckley Station Rd). The novena will begin at 3:00pm on Good Friday with a special hour of prayer to include the Stations of the Cross and veneration of a relic of The True Cross. St. Patrick Parish, 1000 N. Beckley Station Road, will celebrate this great Feast of Mercy on April 23 with Fathers Jeffrey Shooner (Confessor & Presider), Shayne Duvall (Confessor & Homilist) and other Confessors. ALL are encouraged to attend; especially those in most need of God’s Mercy. The celebration will begin (1:30-3pm) with private confessions and veneration of the Divine Mercy image, St. Faustina relic, and image of Saint John Paul II; Holy Rosary at 2:15pm. The Divine Mercy Hour will begin at 3:00pm and will include the KofC Honor Guard, a presentation by Fr. Shayne Duvall, Adoration, Benediction, singing of the Divine Mercy Chaplet; immediately followed by Holy Mass. (In addition, Eucharistic Adoration & Confessions will be available throughout the evening on Saturday (April 22) from 6pm-Midnight –concluding with Benediction.)
