Karen, one of our Louisville Helpers, has been kind enough to keep us posted as she and pro-lifers from the Louisville, Kentucky and Southern Indiana make their way to the 2017 March for Life.
In her first installment she shares with us their arrival on Thursday the 26th at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, where together with prolifers across the U.S. they await Cardinal Timothy Dolan and 15o concelebrating Priests to begin Mass.
Today, Friday the 27th, we catch up with the group as they begin to make their way by bus to the Verizon Center, home of the Washington Wizards and Georgetown Hoyas basketball teams, for a youth Rally and Mass prior to today’s March. You can see the crowds forming as they make their way from the Arena to the National Mall and the beginning of the Walk for Life.
