Join Archbishop Kurtz, Rev. J. Brian Bransfield, and Fr. Martin Linebach for this very special evening during Respect Life Month 2013. On our journey to eternity, we are never too young or too old to learn – especially as it pertains to good and evil and the proper formation of our consciences. This evening, Monsignor Brian Bransfield will assist us in this exceptionally important lifelong task. (Appropriate for youth in 7th grade and up.)

Msgr. Bransfield was ordained in 1994. He holds a doctorate in moral theology and has served as a high school theology teacher. Currently, Msgr. Bransfield serves as the Associate General Secretary of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in Washington, D.C. Msgr. Bransfield is the author of a number of books, most recently co-authoring Gift of Joy: The Blessing of the Child in the Womb along with Archbishop Kurtz (June 2013). They will be signing copies of the booklet during the evening.

The new Rite for the Blessing of a Child in the Womb

will be offered. All expectant mothers, couples, or families are invited to receive this most special Blessing & receive a certificate acknowledging the child in the womb.
