Kentucky Science Center and graphic coloring books

In what is turning into a political debate is the absurdity of Planned Parenthood being associated with anything scientific. Planned Parenthood, the largest provider of abortion, was invited to our local science center for a  Health and Wellness Days event, where they failed to provide the center in advance, as required by all participants, with the activity book that they handed out to children under 13. The most egregious part of this story, however, is not Planned Parenthood’s ability to fail to adhere to an agreed upon policy, or even later its lying about having distributed the books in order to cover things up. No, the biggest deception is that someone in the center sees Planned Parenthood as a credible medical or scientific institution.

When young people dream of becoming doctors, nurses, medical researchers and scientists to find ways to cure people and improve their lives, they don’t envision working for Planned Parenthood because that is where lives are destroyed. That is no political spin but scientific fact.

Simple observation of Planned Parenthoods actions demonstrate reality. The people who go there seek abortions. There is no other “care” in any large or as equal amount being offered. They don’t even aid the women they encourage to seek abortion after the fact. They have one mission and its financials reflect that mission. So should someone be surprised that they would usurp the rules of the Center’s event? For them it is all about the propaganda and spreading their message.

Where does a person of rational intelligence even begin a discussion with people who think such coloring pages help increase the intellectual aptitude of the young people of our city who attended this event? If you have the mental patience, go to the Kentucky Science Center facebook page where you not only see its apology, but you see people actually arguing that Planned Parenthood is this great Institution of health care. So apparently all you have to do to get invited to our science center is to provide a sophomoric drawing of human genitalia and call it health information and you can call yourself a medical researcher. Medical training and knowledge are unimportant, what is important is how you feel about your cause.

Next they complain that Facebook is a conservative social media platform and Planned Parenthoods message is being mistreated, and it is at that point I stop reading. Name the famous medical doctors working at PP? How about the latest medical advancement from PP?

Medical science, not Facebook, states unequivocally that human life begins at conception. It is arm chair philosophers who try to deny a child in the womb’s personhood as an excuse to end their humanhood.

It’s also laughable to read peoples comments as they talk as if Planned Parenthood was a well known hospital saving thousands of lives.

The reality is that Planned Parenthood is:

  • A place where children loose their lives,
  • parents loose their souls
  • and a large corporation makes money off that destruction.
