Msgr. Reilly Helpers founder returns to the Creator

On Nov. 30th the feast of St. Andrew, Monsignor Philip Reilly the founder of The Helpers of God’s Precious Infants went home to our Lord. Like St. Andrew, Monsignor was always leading and pointing others to our Lord. It was back in May of 2007 that Msgr. Reilly answered the plea to come to Louisville Ky and teach us how to fish.

To take the Eucharistic indwelling, that is made manifest at Mass in the Most Holy Eucharist and that God benevolently shares with those in present at Mass and in Communion with Holy Mother Church, and to allow that grace to make itself manifest to all the world through us. That we cast out into the deep trusting in the Holy Ghost, to make manifest in us the Love and Hope that is the Christ.

Monsignor, we continue to strive in your foot steps, going to the Modern Day Calvary, the Planned Parenthood. Serving to witness that it is not necessary to kill children so as to improve the status of the mother or the father. And we strive to witness to all that the unborn deserve life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Thank you Monsignor Reilly. It was only fitting that your funeral Mass be today, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. A day recognizing how God prepared His future Mother in the womb of St. Anne with the grace needed to be that pure vessel of selflessness for our Lord Jesus.
